Photocopies of letters written by Benjamin Wright, a soldier during the Civil War with the 22nd Wisconsin Infantry Regiment, Co. G, to his sister, Electa M. Wright, in Mukwonago, Wis. Wright was captured near St. Louis in 1863. Post-war letters are written from Chatfield and Farmers Grove, Minn., and include a couple of letters by other family members. Also included are the words to a song, "The Collored [sic] Volunteers."
